Children grow up very fast! The wardrobe renovation is constant. But of course, choosing a size is usually a headache for parents. The footwear that a relatively short time ago suited them, suddenly begins to squeeze them and they have to be changed. At Conguitos, as experts in the children's and youth sector, we have developed an easy and intuitive guide with all the equivalences in children's shoe sizes according to the length of their feet and age. Factors when choosing the right children's shoes are:
- Made with breathable materials
- Wide shoe last
- Flexible sole
- Tight-fitting shoes with velcro closure or laces
When we buy a shoe, the most important thing is to know perfectly the moment of development of the boy or girl. One of the most common mistakes that parents make is to understand a child's foot as that of an adult but in small when in reality it has evolved and depending on the stage in which it is, one or another size suits it.
Equivalence table of children's shoes
We indicate below the table with the measurements in cm of the standard inner sole of each size by zones. Keep in mind that these measurements are indicative and that the best way to make sure is by directly measuring the child's feet.
* The measurements indicated refer to body measurements.

Tips for measuring children's feet
Children and adolescents must have quality footwear since at these early ages the bones of the feet are constantly growing. Whether it's sneakers, collegiate or boots, the shoe must adapt to the stage in which it is. We indicate how you can easily measure a foot and thus know the equivalent size:
Method 1: on the sole
Choose a shoe that you know you are comfortable walking in. Remove the inner template, and with a meter, measure from the middle of the heel, to the first toe or big toe. For example, a length of 21 cm from tip to tip means that your size corresponds to 34.
Method 2: on the foot
Place the child's bare foot on top of a sheet of paper. On it, make a mark in the middle of the back of the heel and the other at the end of the tip of the big toe. With the meter, write down the centimeters and check the size equivalence.
